Hey there!

My desire is to transcend generations with the photographs, words, art, and good that I leave behind as part of my own legacy.

I want the words I say to be intentional and life giving. I want them to bring encouragement, justice, deep conversations, thoughts from what I’ve read recently, and whatever is currently on my mind - just what you’d get if you sat down with me over a cup of espresso.

Want to get to know a little bit more about me before diving into my writings?

October is here! 🙌🏼 While I love summer and I love Christmas, October remains my favorite month of the year. It’s sort of cooler in Texas - well you don’t immediately keel over trying to wear scarves and boots as you beckon for the swea

This week, my gratitudes have been found in seasonal rhythms, conversations with loved ones, and the simple things. It’s what my heart has been searching for, especially after a long and hard week.

Rick and I have been trying Pinterest recipes to liven up our meal planning. We all know about Pinterest fails and I've had plenty in my day. (Avalanche Rice Krispies in college was the worst! 🙈) It's been super nice to find some recipes on there th

Just in case no one has told you today - You are so very loved. You’re doing strong, brave, hard things and people are proud of you. You’re here in this season for a reason. You are worthy and a relationship with you is worth it. ❤️

9.11. It’s a day filled with mixed emotions for me. My recollection of this day is the memories and the emotions of a confused 7th grade girl as she went from class to class where TV’s were playing scary, life changing events as students
